This simple mail (SMTP/POP3) proxy allows you to share a single Internet connection among multiple computers without the extra cost. Once configured (with the provided GUI), the proxy requires minimal attention. It works in the background, passing email messages without delays. Implemented as a Windows service, it requires Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. The service automatically starts when the computer is powered up - no user login is required. It will not monopolize your computer resources, so there is no need to run it on a dedicated computer. Complementing a Web proxy and a firewall, the Trilent Mail Proxy is an ideal solution for security-minded small network users utilizing an external mail server.
