When their plane crashes on an uncharted island, two travelers discover an uncanny civilization inhabited by monkeys and apes. After a peaceful day of gathering fruit with friendly monkeys, they learn of a tyrannical baboon who wants to conquer the island and make it his empire. With their newfound monkey friends, the two travelers set out on a quest to bring peace to the island.
